Playback does not take time signature into account
If I have two scores, the first one is in time 8/4, the second one is 8/8, the measures in the second score will be played twice as fast as the first, even though both scores have 8 beats per measure. It seems that musescore always take the quarter note (crotchet) as the "beat unit" when playing the song, regardless of what the time signature lower number indicates.
