Lyrics Vertical Offset not working
Windows 10, latest master code.
There are 3 behaviors I am documenting here, #1 and #2 are bugs, they're all related.
Steps to reproduce:
#1
- open the attached score
- click on any word in the lyrics
- press F8 to see the inspector for that Lyrics element
- uncheck Automatic Placement
- adjust the vertical offset (THE TEXT SHOULD MOVE, BUT IT DOES NOT)
- close the inspector
- reopen the inspector (the same lyrics element is still selected)
- YOUR VERTICAL OFFSET HAS BEEN RESET TO ZERO.
#2
- save the file, with Automatic Placement UNchecked for that lyrics element
- close and reopen the file
- select the same lyrics element
- AUTOMATIC PLACEMENT IS CHECKED
#3
- uncheck Automatic Placement again
- now adjust the horizontal offset
- save, close, and reopen the file
- It's correct! Auto Place is unchecked and the horizontal setting is correct

mmh, i cannot reproduce, its working fine here
OK, I just tested it fully again and the vertical offset is working. It must have been fixed by your other recent changes. Thanks!
If you uncheck auto placement for a lyric, de-select, then re-select that lyric. Auto placement is checked again. Though without making changes, it doesn't make a difference to the layout. It's still a bit odd as a UI behavior. If you don't consider that a bug, then you can mark this issue as fixed too.
No, I am wrong about that last statement too. I did see something hinky earlier when I mentioned this issue on the other thread. Hmmm indeed. I'm marking this as fixed. Another one bites the dust.
Automatically closed -- issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
