at least for files created after that fix (or before the breakage), as it is the thumbnails in those files that were the culrpit (at least that's what I gather from the code)

After checking, I confirm that things go wrong in the Start Center from the commit previously mentioned: 4ac407d
Supposedly fixed in 460e5e74bf2df0e6b408f2fba63bd463fc5ef723 .
