Audio export ends early
The exported audio files finish before the sound has a chance to return to silence (including any reverb)
Below is the waveform of two whole notes exported from MuseScore. Notice that the second whole note is cut off early.

In rev. 1653 i added an extra one second trailer after the last note off event. Hope this helps as its difficult to find out when the synthesizer output drops below a certain level.
