Attempting to change time signature of score with tuplets deletes time signature altogether
1. Open 4/4 score with tuplets.
2. Drag 3/4 time signature onto score.
3. 'Yes' to "Rewrite measures until next time signature?".
4. 'OK' to "cannot rewrite measures: tuplet would cross measure".
Result: Time signature disappears altogether from the score.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (4959) - Mac 10.6.8.

I just tried a score with tuplets - although it didn't change the notes, there was a 3/4 time signature.
I think this is now fixed.

Yes, cases that work work, cases where the tuplet would cross a measure boundary produce an error, original time signature remains.
