receiving MIDI in Musescore
I'm having trouble getting my MIDI source (Lowrey Patriot organ) to actuate notes in Musescore. I'm pretty sure I have the organ set right, but I can't get the notes to show up in Musescore as I play the keys on the organ. Any thoughts that might help me?

If it uses actual MIDI cables, be sure to connect in to out and vice versa - not in to in and out to out.
Be sure to turn on the keyboard before starting MuseScore.
Be sure to be in note input mode and to otherwise follow the instructions for note entry in the Handbook.
