My operating system is: Microsoft 10

The "Victory March of the Glorious" is written in 4/4 time, and I am writing it on Musescore, but in the last measure that I have written the notes are not going in right: First there is an 8th note, then a half note, next a quarter note, now I need another 8th note, but Musescore refuses to give me an 8th note, but puts in a 32nd note. Any way to correct this?

In order to help, we would need you to attach the score you are having trouble with. Probably either the actual duration of the measure has been modified in measure properties, or the score is corrupt (and MuseScore would inform you of this upon loading it). See https://musescore.org/en/node/54721 for information on how to fix corruptions. And if you can then provide any insight into how this might have happened - corruptions are not *supposed* to happen - please let us know. Ideally, precise steps to reproduce the corruption from scratch.

Several questions:

1. When you loaded the score was the file identified as corrupt?

2. When you right click the measure in question and then click measure properties are the nominal and actual values the same? Are they both 4/4?

3. Do you have another time signature in your music you didn't realize was there? Make sure you select view | show invisible.

4. Can you upload the score so we can check it out and see what's going on?
