Toggle visibility does not affect ties if region includes final bar line?

1. Select the first measure and press V to make score elements invisible (ignore the problem with dots – see #116771: Note's dot's visibility is incorrect when toggling visibility with note and dot selected).

Result: Ties are made invisible as expected.

2. UNDO and select measures 1 and 2. Press V to make invisible.

Result: Ties are made invisible as expected.

3. UNDO and select all three measures (or use Ctrl + A).

Expected result: All ties become invisible.
Actual result: Ties are still visible.
