Hanging barline - due to too much on one page?

Systems 1, 2, and 4 leave hanging barlines (past the end of the staff) after "add less stretch." Must keep number of measures on each line in order to keep entire hymn on one page for an insert to go in tomorrow. What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

This isn't really an "Issue" which is to do with a general failure or shortcoming in the program itself but more due to a specific problem that you are having.

You have the page set up for "Letter" size.
If you are, in fact using A4 size paper do this...

Layout > Reset Stretch
Layout > Page Settings > Page Size = A4
Layout > Page Settings > Scaling - reduce Space to 1.299

If you are, actually, using Letter size paper then reduce the Scaling further, select all and stretch it a little to make the last line more even.

I've just had the same problem - so it's not a thing specific to Cumberland's computer. See bar 13. I don't want to change the scaling, because that makes the notes too small; the paper's A4.

Nobody claimed it to be specific to Cumberland's Computer. It is specific to the score, just too much Information for one line, so neither a bug nor an enhancent request, hence nothing for the issue tracker but for the Forum.
Either reduce the Space Setting or decrease page margins or just select that measure 15 and add less stretch until the barline touches the staff again.
