Page formatting help
I am working on engraving a score for a piece that is TTBB with piano. I've attached two of the pages, with the lyrics redacted.
The problem I have is that I cannot get two staffs on one page for all of the pages. I've adjusted the beam stretch on pages and measures to no avail. We cannot have the measures too tightly and maintain readability.
After a few pages of one staff per page, I suddenly get two on a page, and then return to just one.
Can anyone give me guidance on this?

Can't do much with PDFs, would meed the actual scores.

Thank you. I'm sorry, I could not figure out how to place only two pages in a Musescore file, and I can't release the full score. Copyright by the composer. But I appreciate the link. It was helpful.

Understood, I do have the same problem (of not being able to share a score due to copyright) pretty frequently
The first thing I notice is that the page with one system has lyrics while the one with two systems does not (or only a single line of lyrics). You can open the Layout Page Settings dialog and adjust the scaling a little and 2 systems should go on every page. Notice there is a preview at the bottom so you can see when you get a good scaling value.

That did it. Very sweet. I was just really struggling with that. Now, I have some formatting of small items to do and back to the engraving!

For your problems of copyright, you select sevrals measures you want, and you put the selection on MS in using like my photo.
