Changing from C to 5/8 does not change; changing from C to 7/8 does not change.
In create palette, select 8, click on 5/8, changes to 5/4.

Are you volunteering to fix this? I'm assuming not, so I'm removing your name from the "Assigned" field.

Also, please give more precise steps to reproduce the problem. And say which build of 3.0 you are testing. I'm not having problems adding 5/8 or other time signatures in the build I am using (bfebf95). Use Help / About to get the revision number.
