2.0.3.1
GIT commit: 6347ed6
Time signature set up as C common time. Try to switch to 3/8. Changes to 3/4.
Open master palette, select Time signature.
click on 3/8. Shows 3/4 Test says 3/8
Select 3/8.
Click on 3/8 to drag to measure.
Immediately reverts to 3/4
Same happens with trying to insert 7/8 measure.
I'm not a programmer. Assigning to me wouldn't get us anywhere.
Thanks.

Sounds like maybe you have somehow messed up your palette or aren't doing something correctly - 3/8 works fine for me. It would be better to ask for help in the Support forum. When you do so, attach the score you are having problems with, and given even *more* preicse step by step instructions. For instance, here is what I did and it worked perfectly:

1) Start MuseScore
2) Look at My First Score
3) Open Time Signature palette (not the master palette, just the regular time signature palette)
4) drag 3/8 to measure 3

Result: measure 3 is now in 3/8, just as I expect. Of course it shows a full measures rest at first, but if I enter eighth notes into it, I can verify it is 3/8.

If you are seeing otherwise following these exact steps, try Help / Revert Factory Settings to undo whatever damage might have been done to your palette, then try again.
