I am aware of https://musescore.org/en/node/91571 and that Toolbars will be added to the View menu in 2.1. But this is a different issue.

I am on a Mac (10.11.6, El Capitan) and cannot find anywhere that I can right-click to bring up the Toolbars context menu. See the attached screenshot for everywhere that I have tried to right click without success.

I removed the Toolbars on purpose so I could do a full-screen screencast of my score without any toolbars on screen. But would like them back now that I'm working on the score again.

I would assign this Major priority if not for the View Menu fix coming in 2.1. I am having to rely completely on keyboard shortcuts until I can get back the Toolbars.

Try bringing up the Inspector and clicking precisely on its title bar (i.e., right on the word "Inspector"). Not that this makes it okay, but as far as I know that's the one "fail-safe" spot left when there aren't any toolbars.

lasconic, I specifically called out that fix in my description, however, the context-menu will continue to be a "feature" in 2.1—except for on the Mac. Not having the context-menu work on the Mac is a bug.

Jojo-Schmitz, I wasn't asking how to bring them back. I was pointing out the bug that the context-menu feature doesn't work on the Mac. Doing a Factory Reset is also not a solution for those of us who have edited other settings we want to keep.

Isaac, clicking on the Inspector's title bar worked! Thank you!

I would recommend that the user should be able to get that same behavior by clicking to the right of the Score title. Is there anyone working on bringing the Toolbar context-menu to a better location?

I highly doubt this is specific to the operating system.

The picture he showed of his mac page is nothing like my windows page. I have no problem clicking next to the menus to get the toolbars speed menu. I think OS has something to do with it.

So pretty obviously this is plattform specific

The difference between the operating systems here is that OS X / macOS removes the menu bar from the window and puts it at the top of the screen, so that particular place doesn't actually exist in the MuseScore window. But as far as I know, everywhere else that works on Windows works just the same on OS X / macOS—it's not "No Toolbars context menu on Mac." The question is whether there's anywhere left to click when all the toolbars are gone, and this seems the obvious place.
