Adding a section break does not cause the next measure to start counting from 1, regardless of the setting of that propertly. The setting for long vs. short instrument names works though.

Well, a section break DOES reset the measure number (if the relevant check box is set), but the DISPLAY is not updated immediately: the 'new' measure numbers are shown once some other command causes a global re-layout.
So, I'm re-opening the issue; feel free to close it again, if the above does not qualify as a bug to you (to me, it does...) or if the above has been corrected in the meantime.
