[Mac] Sluggish sound
For a few months, MuseScore has been sounding bad on my Mac Pro (10.8.4) and MacBook (10.7.5).
This is not apparent if I export audio, however.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (721a479) - Mac 10.7.5.

Is this with any score file? Do you use the default soundfont? Do you have the same bad sound with a smaller one? Do you use a SFZ or SF2/3? Is your CPU usage hight while playing? Do you use effects or not? if yes, does it make a difference if you don't? Is the sound as bad with only one score and one part like the demo score? Any other details that you could add?
In fcce1dbff0 I reduced Portaudio suggested latency to 20s from 100ms. It seems to solve this issue. Let's see if the fix sticks.
