Tooltip doesn't appear in main window when it looses focus

1. Open score.
2. Open 'Play Panel'.
3. Hover over button on the main interface.

Result: Tooltip doesn't appear.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (5be9488) - Mac 10.7.5.

Clarified title.

On my computer (Windows 7) some applications show tooltips when the window is out of focus, others don't. Firefox and Windows Media Player, and Inkscape showed tooltips. Windows Explorer, Microsoft Word, Photoshop, and Finale did not.

I can see the value of toolitips always displaying.
