no sound when pressing the play button
When the curser touches the note, I can hear the respective sound, however, when I press the play button to listen to the entire piece, there is nothing - exept for one random tone inbetween.
I have already done the reset and also already deinstalled the previous version and downloaded the latest one.
Interestingly, pieces from 2 months ago, work well. I can hear the whole piece.
Any suggestions?

check (Inspector) velocity type
There are some wierd things going on: the tempo text "Quarter = 90" is set to follow text, but does play a 10BPM, all notes are set to velocity type user and velocity 1. Once those issues are fixed it plays normaly.
The XML file apparently had been exported from MuseScore 2.0.3, can you share the mscz file of it?
We'd need to see that to check whether the XML export in 2.0.3 had a bug and whether 2.1 still has the same bug, or whether the score simply had these bogus settings before the export.
Also it'd help to know how that score was produced, maybe by some MIDI or XML import? In which case we'd also need to look at those files.

OK, so apparently that mscz is the result of a MIDI Import yesterday, so we'd need to look at the MIDI file and whether/how it caused those apparently bogus settings to notes' velocities and the tempo.
BTW: you seem to still be using MuseScore 2.0.3, please be aware that 2.1 got released a couple weeks ago.
