1. Acciacatura: wrong duration. 2. No 'delete measures'.

• Aug 2, 2009 - 05:00

I have just installed the latest revision, r1926, but found that acciacatura notes now last until the next full bar rest. Sounds very interesting with quite a lot of them.

On another matter, the handbook states (on choosing how many measures for a score) that measures can be removed later. How does one do that? There is "append measure" and "insert measure" but no "delete measure".

Independent of these comments, MuseScore is an excellent program. Thanks to all those who put an effort into getting it working, and for providing it for free! And thanks Thomas Bonte, for assistance with log-on problems.

There is a procedure given in the manual: Ctrl+click on the first measure, then Shift+Click to extend it; then press the Delete key. But I couldn't get it to extend; I finished up deleting measures one at a time. I agree that it would be nice to have a menu option for it.

Hi Laidlaw, The new handbook at http://www.musescore.org/en/handbook/measure-operations says: Ctl+Click to select a starting measure, the same to select the ending measure, then press delete. So this works.

But yes, it would be good to have it as a menu option.

The acciaccatura problem persists. It also happens with appoggiaturas.

It's not the soundfont, as it happens with both the default piano soundfont as well as Unison.

I'm using Vista Home Premium, if that matters.
