See PR 988 , which got merged in c63936e
But this seems to have caused problems with mscore.ttf, at least under Windows, see http://musescore.org/en/node/27326

Hi jpirie
I noticed fade in and fade out objects have been implemented in MuseScore.
I'm not sure if this is maybe the right thing to do because these are probably non-standard (only used by Guitar Pro?). I actually thought it would be a dynamic, but what is your opinion?
In general, Musescore should match as closely as possible what is on the Guitar Pro score. The font symbol for this is defined in SMuFL (simarly for fade out and volume swell), and Guitar Pro users will expect to see the same (or at least very similar) symbols when they import their files into Musescore, so we should display the same symbol they do on the score.
Perhaps symbols that have been included from Musescore for the specific purpose of supporting Guitar Pro should have their own section of the master palette labelled say "Guitar Pro". Such a discussion would be a good topic for the mailing list if you think that might be good to see what other views are on that.
I don't think I mind what is chosen.
Is there such a thing as dynamics in Guitar Pro?
Yeah there is, Guitar Pro supports dynamics (ppp through to fff, crec, dim, etc). We support import of those dynamic markings on the score after the next pull request has gone through.
Sorry, I meant crescendo and diminuendo.
If fade in/out are in guitar pro, they are standard. Guitar Pro is the standard for guitarists world wide anyway. Case closed.
Yes, they are present in at least Guitar Pro versions 6, 5, and 4.
