Shortcuts
I got on Musescore today, there was no recent update, and started working. Come to find out shortly that when I try to use the quick shortcut for the undo command ( Ctrl. Z) it doesn't work. This is a bit odd because normally every other shortcut works as far as I know. Thanks :)

Ctrl+Z works just fine here. Check whether you redefined it in https://musescore.org/en/handbook/preferences#shortcuts or if Alt+Backspace works
My guess is you recently went to the preferences dialog and hit the reset button. It is a known issue that this also clears some OS-defined shortcuts like Ctrl+S and Ctrl+Z. See #65011: Reset All Preferences to Default removes essential keyboard shortcuts; fixed on restart
