Updated steps for former issue #16506:

1. Open attached score.
2. 'Select All'.
3. 'Transpose...'.
4. Select different key signature.
5. 'OK'.
6. 'Undo'.
7. Select any note and change it using UP or DOWN key.

Result: The former key signature chosen in step 4 reappears.

Then why not reopening #16506: Former key signature isn't restored after Undo Transpose and add the updated steps there? I may well have marked it fixed due to a missunderstanding

I didn't find a way to edit the original description for #16506 and I mentioned the update in comments #2 and #13. Since this seems to have been constantly overlooked, I saw no benefit in trying it again.
If there is a way to edit the original description, we could of course do it.

I updated my pull request https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/264
which addresses this issue and #21234: Naturals appear for notes that would have been an accidental of previous key signature after undo transpose and #22913: Former key signature appears after undo and another action (which is a duplicate).
