eliminate staff lines and show only notes when desired

I a currently using MuseScore (with a great deal of pleasure I should say) to write a method for young viola players. The first lessons deal only with rhythm and I would love to eliminate all staff lines for these lessons and present only rhythm symbols. This enables the young viola player to focus exclusively on rhythmic notation. Is there any way to achieve this with MuseScore (I have version 3 of MuseScore)
