2) Change the actual duration, no matter what it is, eg in measure 4
- The test file, in a close configuration, at this step: incomplete.mscz
3) File -> Save selection, from this measure 4 and a few following measures
4) Save/Close/Reload
Result: corruption: corrupt.mscz : The actual duration of the incomplete mesure is
considered/shown as a nominal time signature.
- Workaround: re-add the default/previous time signature in this measure 4 before save selection

Works, not really. Indeed, no more corruption, maybe the effect of another issue (?): #276295: Save selection defaults to 4/4 time signature, but no display
If you add a time signature after reloading selection (eg 2/4 for the expected pickup measure), the main time signature is lost.
Automatically closed -- issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
