1. Create Piano score.
2. Drag 'Instrument' from Text palette onto a bar rest.
3. Right-click text.
4. 'Change Instrument…'.

Expected result: 'Piano' is listed in 'Current Instrument'.

Actual result: 'Current Instrument' is blank.

I assume this is a byproduct of the decision to blank the instrument name for new scores consisting of only a single instrument. That was a change I pushed for but have misgivings about now. I still like the idea that scores for single instrument don't display that name on the score itself, but think there might be better ways of getting that effect. One is to have a check box in staff properties to control whether staff names are displayed, and set that to false if creating a scote for a single instrument. Another is to have an "unnamed staff" instrument available in the instrument selection dialog, although that really only solvs the case of lead sheets and other generic scores of a single staff, not cases where someone truly wants the score to be for one specific instrument.
