Handbook navigation suggestions
Handbook editing is not yet up to scratch on the new website:
1: TABS were much more informative and quicker to use allowing the user to quickly switch between (a) handbook (b) Edit and (c) version history
-
When comparing two versions for changes, you have to scroll right down to the bottom of the screen for the "Compare selected revision" button.
-
When you navigate to the Edit or Revisions page, there is no way to directly navigate to any of the other pages (handbook, Edit or Revisions)
Comments
Allow me to change the title, as there are no real problems with handbook editing. I'm taking the suggestions under consideration, but we have currently more pressing things.
Another thing:
For example, see https://musescore.org/en/node/36161/revisions/view/321006/348976/split_… (see line 1 after "the").
A few more issues:
An update on this issue
I would ideally like to have a live edit preview (perhaps using a Markdown JavaScript library), which would mean (5) is no longer an issue. The preview could appear below the edit field (like Stack Exchange) or use a button/tab to switch between the edit field and the preview (like GitHub).
