Other pages such as How To's and Tutorials allow for filtering them by version number. It would be a good idea to have the same filtering option for plugins as well.
Quite a few plugins are working in 2.x and 1.x, they provide files for both. So it should be possible to mark them as such, so they show with either filter being set.

This is done. We have also set the filter by default on 2.x

Can we haw the same for HowTos? Currently it is either 1.x or 2.x or none, some howtos apply to 1.x and 2.x. And 3.x is not on the list.
