number of measures for each system in musescore
Hi, I wanted to ask anyone if there was a way to set up a fixed amount of measures for an entire part EXCEPT for the first system?
In my particular example, I am writing a drum chart for kids and I want four measures in each system for easy reading, but there is a one bar pickup/intro that does not count toward the measure count. So in effect, the first system should have 5 measures while the rest of the project will have 4 for each system. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Select the measures you want to have the line breaks then use edit->tolls->add/delete line breaks and only the selection will be taken into consideration.
Hint: select your first full measure (only one instrument is necessary) and press ctrl-shift-end to select the measures you want.
Select all measures but the 1st, then run Edit > Tools > Add / Remove line breaks. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tools#line-breaks
