Add Key signature in the middle of a bar
Hi everyone,
I've been looking how to add a key signature in the middle of a bar but obviously it seems that it's an uncommon topic. Is there any other way then to split the bar into 2 pick-up bars?
Thanks for your help.
See below Beethoven's Opus 14 Nº1, 3rd movement, bar 83.

Split bar is indeed the way to go here; you can then also select the barline and mark it invisible to get the same result as in your picture.

Split measure is certainly needed for timesig, but I don't think it is needed for keysig
As per the handbook :
Select a note and double-click a key signature in a palette.

Hmm, maybe I confused this with clef changes
For the record - this is non-standard but not unheard of. Currently the way to do it in MuseScore is indeed to split the measure. MuseScore 3 will support mid-measure key changes directly.
