How do you hide measures in the score only?
I have a double string orchestra score which contains a sample improvised solo and chord changes in all of the parts of the second orchestra. How can I have the solo and changes only appear in the top part of the score and all of the parts when printing the parts?
In the image below, I want the bottom two parts with changes to be hidden in the score but visible in the parts.

Comments
Right click the parts and select staff properties. Check the Never Hide staff. Extract parts. Press I and make instrument invisible.
There may be some extra stuff here, but this worked.

This solution would work if I wanted the staff to be hidden for the entire score. I only want it to be hidden for eight measures in the middle of the score.
