Open a score with a drumset created with MuseScore 1.3 such as http://musescore.com/nicolas/scores/38591

Click on a note and press N

Expected result : the drum palette should appear
Actual result : the palette doesn't appear.

Also the Staff group on staff properties is Standard and not Percussion.

I am using ver 1.3. I cannot add any drum notes because the drum palette is empty. There is a post on July 14, 2014 1:59PM that says the issue is, "Fixed in b40859lfal." But what the heck do I do with that? I opened the link, but that just takes me to a page with a bunch of code. Surely, you don't expect me to know what that means, or how that will fix the issue? I'm a musician not a computer programmer.

So, what do I do with the fix to make it actually fix the empty drum palette?

How do I fix the empty drum palette. The fix above, post #4, "Posted by System Message on July 14, 2014 - 1:59pm " doesn't give any details on how to use the fix!

Hi Vince

1. Click on the drum stave.
2. Enable 'Note Entry'.

The drums in the palette should appear.

This issue was for a particular bug in the development version of the forthcoming 2.0 release - it has since been fixed.

the above applies to versions of MuseScore Nightly.
Open a post on the forum Support and bug reports and, if you want, attach your score

Hi Shoichi

Can you clarify what applies to versions of the nightly?

Unless the original issue (or whatever) by lasconic still occurs in the nightly, there's no point in making a new forum post. Vince probably misunderstood how drum entry works in 1.3, and the general development, so I was just explaining.

yes, excuse me.
I had understood that Vince considers applying to 1.3 the mentioned fixes.
Mine was an invitation, if he have problems or doubt, to use the forum.
