- Set chord symbol "Appearance" to "Jazz". Add "CM7" and "F9#5" (say) to the score;
- Now, select "Text Style" > "Chord Symbol" and untick the box labelled "Size follows 'staff space' setting."
Expected result: No change or just a change in size.
Actual result: Vertical alignment of first number in chord symbol also changes.
Comments
Hmm, not sure what's going on here. It's not obviously a bug - could be an expected side effect of the design fo the font and how the formatting code works - but it is surprising, I'd agree.
Is there a real-world use case to be concerned about here?
