can i record via midi notes and tabs with boss gt-10 ? if yes how?

Hi
i own a boss gt-10 , i have installed the drivers , and i have connected via usb

can musicscore record notes and tabs what i'm playing?
and how can i do it?

well i read the turorial , i connect my boss gt-10 to my pc , setup correctly , i play but musescore doesn't record anything

one thing i didi not get it
can i record and connect my boss gt-10 via usb to record the notes i play
or do i need to plug the midi output in my computer?

If the USB connection is MIDI, it should work.

Are you in note input mode? Which one - step time, automatic, or manual? Did you read the Handbook to learn how to use MIDI input?

The Gt-10 is an FX-processor for electric guitar. Unless misunderstood, it isn't an electric guitar signal to MIDI converter, so any USB output of the device will more than likely be providing an AD/DA conversion to record an audio signal and maybe some MidiCC/SYSEX sends related to the usage of the interface (stomp presets and settings of knobs). You'll need something else entirely for MIDI interfacing a guitar into Musescore.
