Multi-Measure Rest
I have tried everything and I still can't figure out how to make a multi-measure rest. I've gone to system>general>score and tried to make the multi-measure rest that way but it still doesn't work.

Assuming you have a bunch of contiguous empty measures in your score, pressing 'M' will toggle multimeasure rests on/off.

You have to have empty measures already preset - the option in question doesn't insert new empty measures, it just combines them.
But normally you don't need to do this manually all - multimeasure rests are created automatically when you generate parts from your score. The only time you need to mess with this yourself is if you are entering a single part only, without the rest of the score.
