Issue with the Play with Repeat function

When trying to play the piece on the software with the repeat function, it stops at the "end repeat" bar and does not go to the "start repeat" bar. The sound stops and when I hit the space bar to try to get it to keep on playing, it just starts from the very beginning of the music, rather than the "start repeat" bar. I am not sure how to get around this.
