When some things are pasted, the crescendo/diminuendo/pedal marks, which are put before pasting in the pasted area, stay in their original place, sometimes causing the marks to pile up one above another
As said in the summary. This bug confuses and perplexes me ever since I started using MuseScore.

Just empty the target measure before pasting or use the selection filter to exclude those elements
