Fermata horizontal position is broken 2.X->3.0
Tested with self built MuseScore on OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (32-bit): 3.0.0, revision: 44304ca
I set Major because elements positioning is a basic notation rule.
1. Open attached score
2. Go to measure 21 or 31
Result: fermata horizontal position is incorrect.
Note, some fermatas are correctly positioned. Possibly relates to #274934: Incorrect articulations palette displaying.

The chords in question have a non-zero x offset. Setting these offsets to zero will cause the fermatas to be centered under the chords.
