Musescore closes when I try to Open scores .
For some reason Musescore is closing when I try to Open saved scores that I am working on. It seems like it only happens when they get to large, but not sure if that is why. Also, now my scores are getting renamed to something like this scrj4832 instead of the score title (America from West side Story )

That scrj4832 is an autosave version, typical for a crash.
Attach one of the scores MuseScore crashes on, so we can check why that happens and see whether this still needs fixing for the upcoming 3.0 and whether the score can get fixed to not crash in 2.x

Regarding the renaming - what this means is that at some previous point MuseScore crashed, next time you started MuseScore it offered to restore the previous session, you said yes, but you didn't do a "save as" to give the recovered score a new name. I actually thought it got the right names as of 2.3, so do be sure you aren't using an older version.

It's the newest version. I removed the program I had and replaced it last week from the Musescore home page. It's 2.3.2

OK. Is it possible, though, that this is a score you had begun working on with an older version, and the crash occurred back then, and that's when your score got renamed? That is, do you rememebr when this name change happened, was it before or after your update to 2.3.2? And do you remember what version you were using before?
