Is the problem that the orphan measure ends up on the next line? If so, then you need to reduce the width of the measures. Select all of the measures you want on a line and press { up to 10 times or until the measure moves up. If this does not work you will need to use Layout->Page Settings and reduce the scaling. There is a preview so you will know when you have a good scaling. You can do this anyway and forget pressing { if you want.

Looks as I expect on my system - the first line is pickup plus four full measures, on the score as well as the alto part. But it's pretty tight; I guess I could imagine it not quite fitting on a different computer if its math processor rounded things off differently. So if you are seeing it not quite fit - which is what the PDF appears to show - then just select these measures and reduce stretch another notch or two (looks like you reduced it by one already), by pressing "{" as suggested above.
