What operating system do you have? Can you reproduce it? Does this still happen without doing anything else (i.e. start MuseScore, change to advanced)? Does it happen after a factory reset (Help->Revert to Factory Settings)?
We need more in order to figure out what is wrong. I use windows 10 and ubuntu and have not had this issue.

I reported it for the beta, the issue is not fixed, I'm afraid. And I think I answered @JoshuaBonn1's questions.
