I was working on a piece for full orchestra, getting fed up by playback errors (randomly skips 3-10 measures constantly in playback) when the software abruptly quits. I reopened it, clicking on a button saying "restore progress" bringing me back to my score, completely as it was. I continued to work - for about 10 seconds, until the software crashes again. I repeat the process of reopening it and clicking "restore progress" only to come back to a score WITHOUT the hours of work I put in. This is partly on me, for not saving, but I feel really bad that I lost so much because of this bug. I'd really appreciate it if it was fixed. Thanks!

I wouldn't do anything important in version 3 yet - it's still called a beta for a reason. When I want to take advantage of the auto layout I enter it in 2.3.2 and import it to 3. Enough of that. Do you have auto save turned on for every 2 minutes in preferences? If so, you should consider lengthening the interval or turning it off completely and remember to save often.
In order to investigate, we would need you to attach the score you are having trouble with and give precise steps to reproduce the problems.
