Cannot select instrument in order to view staff properties

Right-clicking the instrument name in a score will be ignored as if it is not there, and another dialog will appear that only is actived when you right click in an empty space in the score. You cannot click on the instrument name to select it. This happens on the first page if you have "Hide instrument name if there is only 1 instrument" unchecked, and also on any subsequent page.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to Style, and uncheck "Hide instrument name if there is only 1 instrument"
2. Create a score for as little as one or as many instruments you'd like
3. Many be one only one measure or it may be multimeasure spanning many pages, it does not matter
4. Right click on the instrument name.

I don't know of any workaround to this.
