note-achored line should have autoplace disabled, as with autoplace it does not connect the notes, which defeats its purpose
Not the case in 2.x so a regression, easy workaround, hence ninor

2.3.2 acts the buggy-3 way for me (I had never noticed this menu item there).
??? In a current build? This should have been fixed (and is for me) as part of #278490: Lines placed above the top staff when single note selected.. If you are still seeing issues in a current build, can you post as a sample? I couldn't get it to fail.
I think tested the with the latest beta, not with anything more recent. Will check again, tomorrow...
