OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.4648, revision: 40a27b9

Open the attached score (created in 2.x) and take the reset. Click on the accent (say) in measure 6. Now reduce the vertical offset in the Inspector.

Expected result: With auto-placement ON, the element cannot move downwards, so you would expect the vertical offset value in the Inspector NOT to change.
Actual result: The vertical offset can be made increasingly negative even though there is no corresponding movement of the element. The same with other elements subject to auto-placement.

Suggestion: When the element is subject to auto-placement rules, the values in the Inspector should behave accordingly.

This is by design. The idea is you are still changing the default (pre-autoplace) position for that element, and if you change it by an amoutn that cause autoplace to no longer need to take action, you will see the change. Without this feature it would be much harder to override autoplace without disabling it entirely.
