In MS 2.x, Grand staff distance (Style > General > Page) governed all staves of a grand staff. However, there has been a regression in 3.0-dev and tablature staves in a grand staff are no longer included in "Grand staff distance." Instead, they have reverted to being treated as ordinary staves governed by "Staff distance."
Amongst other things, this has broken the layout of imported 2.x staff/tablature scores.
