When dragging and dropping a custom 11/8 time signature from the Master Palette directly onto a measure, Musescore crashes.

In which measure do you drag and drop the time signature? If it's in measure 13 (second staff), where a clef change has be done, it's a known issue. #280814: Crash when adding new time signature in the measure of a clef change

In this case, to avoid the issue, remove this clef (F.Clef), add your time signature, and re-insert the clef.
If it is something else, please provide more details, about the involved measure eg.

Measure 13 was where the time change was supposed to happen. I tried what you described and it worked. Thank you.
