everytime i try to open musescore 3, it shows the title card then disappears as if it were to have crashed

And so, @GTortilla, we need to see/check the score showing the problem.
Maybe, first, try: menu "Help" -> RevertToFactorySettings.
Otherwise, a file (or snippet) is needed.

I have jack audio on my computer so that may be it.
Try revert to factory settings
