  1. Create an SATB score, say.
  2. Right click on a barline and chose "Select > More > Normal."

Expected result: All the single barlines selected.
Actual result: The system barlines are also selected.

It appears this was true in 2.3.2 as well, but the behavior after selection was different: system barlines were ignored for most operations even though selected. Looks like visibility toggled, span settings were ignored. To me, it's actually kind of cool that you can edit span of system barlines in 3.0 although I suspect it's only an accident that it works and I expect it will turn out to not work correctly always.

Anyhow, I might have said we could use "subtype" to different regular measure barlines from system barlines, but unfortunately we already use it for normal / double etc, which is probably as it should be. If there is general agreement we should change the select all behavior, it's probably easy enough to change, but since it would mean changing something vs 2.3.2 and also taking away a possibly useful capability, I'd want to see forum discussion first. That is, what are the real world use case for select all of barlines? I'm thinking the most common is probably to make them invisible - particularly because the "show barlines" setting in staff properties is completely ignored right now. Not sure if hiding system barlines in these case is expected or not, probably depends on why you are hiding the barlines in the first place.
