There appears to be no easy way to notate the "6+1/2" fret common in modern dulcimers in your tablature systems. In linked staves, especially, this could be a problem. Any suggestions as to how to deal with this issue?
Comments
There is a discsussion that includes the comment at https://musescore.org/en/node/88646#comment-679016 which includes a link to some files where the poster makes dulcimer tablature. The limitation is that you cannot get both display and playback. I have suggested a few possibilities including a proposed project for this summer that will implement this. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/developers-handbook/google-summer-cod….
A feature request was submitted for that three years ago. See: #153016: add mountain dulcimer incl. a tab preset
It remains to be seen whether it will ever be born in the program?
I guess this should be considered a duplicate of #153016: add mountain dulcimer incl. a tab preset.
