Many elements have a "Placement" property with a choice of Above or Below. However, there is also a different property called "Placement" in the "Text line core" of lines. To prevent confusion, the latter needs to be renamed. "Position" perhaps?

I agree, but think you made this case already in #282925: Lines: rationalise UI by removing "Placement" (Above/Below/Left) and passing control to horizontal and vertical alignment settings. Where it was also pointed out the line version doesn't really even work, as it's more about the alignment of the text.
