Dot in lower voice
Hello, please I want to have, in the lower voice of a 2 voices staff, all the dots on the lines in the space OVER the note and not in the space UNDER it. Dot in lower voice goes automatically in the space below
instead of in the upper one; editors recommend to have it in the space OVER. Many thanks, Stefano

I apologize: I have read now that the dot in the lower voice, in a polyphonic staff, DOES have to be in the lower space. Sorry.

Indeed, in most cases, we do get it right by default. But that method is useful to know for the few where we might now - complex situations involving not just multiple voices but also chords with overlapping notes, multiple adjacent notes, etc.
